Caricia Eco Life: knitting for the environment
By 2030 there will be more plastic than fish in the sea. By 2025, two-thirds of the world's population will face water scarcity due to lack of rainfall. By 2100, we will have extinguished half of the planet's species. By 2050, the sea level will be up to 90 cm higher due to the melting of the poles... The Earth is sounding the alarm and now it's up to us to listen.
Climate change is one of the main concerns of our time, and reversing it is now everyone's responsibility. At Lanas Caricia, we want to be part of this action that advocates for a sustainable lifestyle to try and leave a greener, healthier, and more diverse planet for the future. On World Environment Day, we present Caricia Eco Life, a series of eco-crafts to embrace sustainable habits, brought to you by Albita de Plata, a crochet design expert. Throughout June, we will propose crafts that help you recycle, reuse, consume less plastic, and generate less waste, thus extending our hand to help the planet.

All patterns can be found completely free on our website, and of course, we want you to share the results of your own crafts with us using the hashtag #ecolifebycaricia. Additionally, among all the crafts shared with this tag and mentioning @lolaylana on Instagram, we will hold a very special giveaway at the end of the month.
