  • 1 ball of Caricia Eco Cordón color 302
  • 1 ball of Caricia Nature color 103
  • 1 29cm wooden hoop
  • 1 wooden bead (optional)
  •  Measuring tape
  • Scissors

KNOTS USED

  • Lark's head knot
  • Horizontal double half hitch knot using the hoop as support
  • Horizontal double half hitch knot using the guide cords
  • Wrapped knot for the tassel

HOW TO MAKE THE TRIANGLE DREAMCATCHER WITH TASSEL?

Measurements: 30cm wide x 90cm long

BASE START

Cut 6 cords of 250cm in bison color (No. 302). Cut 5 cords of 250cm in white color (No. 301). First, place 3 cords of bison color on the hoop, folding them in half to form a Lark's Head Knot.

Tighten until it conforms to the hoop. Then, arrange the 5 white cords in the same way and repeat with the last 3 bison-colored cords.

By adding all the cords in half, we will now have a total of 22 cords. Separate the first 11 cords and tie them to the bottom left end of the hoop with a horizontal double half hitch knot using the hoop as support and guide.

and do the same with the remaining 11 cords on the bottom right end of the hoop so that a kind of empty triangle remains in the middle.

Cut 8 cords of 180cm in bison color (No. 302). Cut 4 cords of 180cm in white color (No. 301). Place first 4 bison-colored cords in the bottom center of the hoop, folding them in half and forming a Lark's Head Knot, but this time we will do it in reverse to achieve the same effect as the cords at both ends.

Then arrange the 4 white cords in the same way and finally repeat with the last 4 bison-colored cords.

Take the cords from the ends and use them as guides to form the downward peak design using the horizontal double half hitch knot.

For the tassel, we will take a flat and firm object of about 15cm (it can be cardboard, a small notebook, or whatever you have at home) and wrap our Caricia Nature about 55 times.

It's up to you if you want the tassel thinner or thicker. Pass a couple of cords about 20cm long through the top end and tie.

Remove the cords from the support and cut from the bottom.

We can put any round object inside the tassel to give it more shape and firmness, and then just below, we make the wrapped knot with another cord.

We can use a cord of the same color or any other to create contrast. Even out the tassel fringes to your liking, add the wooden bead on top of the tassel (optional), and tie the tassel to the top center of our dreamcatcher. All that's left is to cut the dreamcatcher fringes to your liking and voilà!
