HOW TO MAKE THE CARICIA PERLÉS BIKINI?

TOP: (size 80/85) to make it larger or smaller, add more or fewer chains at the beginning, as well as increasing or decreasing rows until the cup is complete.

Start with a chain of 16 stitches + 3 (these three will be our first double crochet stitch). Begin to crochet double crochet stitches in each of the chain stitches until you reach the beginning stitch, where you will crochet 2 double crochet stitches, 1 chain, and 2 double crochet stitches in the same space. Continue crocheting along the back of the chain, without turning, until you reach the end. Then, turn, chain 3, and again crochet 1 double crochet stitch in each double crochet stitch until you reach the center of the cup, and repeat with 2 double crochet stitches, 1 chain, and 2 double crochet stitches in the chain space from the previous row. Rows are counted as complete, meaning from when you start making double crochet stitches, pass the center, and continue crocheting. I needed 9 complete rows for this pattern. Once you have completed the desired number of rows, cut, fasten off, and set aside. Repeat this process exactly 2 times to get two identical cups. I usually finish with a row of single crochet around the entire cup. Once both cups are crocheted, chain 150 stitches, take the first cup, and slip stitch to continue that cup, attaching it to the 150 chain stitches. When you reach the end of the cup, chain 2 stitches and slip stitch to join the second cup. Then, chain 150 stitches + 3, turn your work, and start crocheting double crochet stitches along those 150 chains plus the 2 cups + 150 chains, then cut. Now we have the straps to close the bottom of the bust. At this point, we decide if we want to leave it as a bikini or continue and make a top. You can choose the elaboration you like, add fringes... imagination is free. I'll give you a simple stitch that you can use to adorn the bikini; you can do it only under the bust or around the entire body. Crochet one double crochet stitch, 1 chain, skipping one stitch in the base, and repeat this for 2 more rows. After crocheting the desired number of openwork rows, we will crochet some small fans by crocheting 3 double crochet stitches, 2 chains, and 3 double crochet stitches in one of those "windows," then a single crochet stitch in the next stitch, and again crochet a fan. Continue this until the end of the row. You can repeat the motif as many times as you deem necessary to achieve the desired width. Once the underbust motif is finished, go to the top of the triangle and chain 200 stitches. Turn and crochet 1 double crochet stitch in each chain stitch until you reach the beginning. Here again, you can create decorative motifs on the cup or the chain, or leave it simple. I recommend finishing with a single crochet border regardless, and do the exact same on the other cup. The top of the bikini is now finished.

BRIEFS:

Start with 14 chains + 3 and crochet 1 double crochet in each chain, crochet to the end, turn, chain 3 and repeat again until you have a total of 4 rows and we will start to make increases at the beginning and at the end of the row by crocheting 2 double crochet stitches together at the beginning and at the end for 10 rows without forgetting to make an increase at each beginning and end of the row, alternating an increase row and a normal row, until 10 rows. Once the 10 rows are finished, we start to make 2 consecutive increases at the beginning and end of each row, that is, an increase is 2 double crochet stitches crocheted in the same stitch, the next row is made with only 1 increase and we alternate these rows until we have a total of 10 rows alternating the increase rows. Once this sequence is finished, we have finished the first part and we must decide the embellishment we want to finish with, in this case I will crochet some openwork that will serve to make a belt through which we will then insert our straps that will be tied at both sides of the hips. It is made with 5 chains, skip 3 double crochet stitches, 2 chains, skip one stitch and create "windows" until you reach the other end, this fantasy row is repeated 3/4 times until you have the desired height. We already have the first part, cut, fasten off and go back to the beginning of the work, turn and crochet again in the strip we crocheted of 14 chains and crochet again 1 double crochet in each double crochet crocheting 14 double crochet stitches for 2 rows, and we start with the increase rows as in the other part already crocheted making 10 rows with 1 increase at the beginning and at the end. And again, once finished, we make double increases at the beginning and end of each row, alternating as in the other part a double increase and another 1 increase for 14 rows, once finished, the top edge is crocheted as in the other part with the rows you have chosen in fantasy stitch. Once the last fantasy stitch is finished, the entire brief is crocheted finishing with single crochet, to which you can also add fantasy stitch as an adornment. 6 strips of 300 chains are crocheted, 3 for the front and 3 for the back and they are inserted through the "windows" crocheted in the fantasy stitch creating a belt that we will tie at both sides of the hips.
