HOW TO MAKE THE CORDÓN CROCHET BAG?

Bag size: 40cm. x 30cm.

Body (x2):

We will work in rows, making a chain and turning the work each time we finish a row. Start by making 17ch + 1ch to turn. R.1: 17sc into the starting chains. R.2-22: sc in each stitch (17 sts). Finish with sl st. Join the two parts by making a round of sc along the entire edge, inserting the hook into the stitches of both parts. Leave one side unjoined, which will be the opening of the bag.

Top (x2):

We will also work in rows, making a chain and turning the work each time we finish a row. R.1: 17sc centered in the opening of one of the front pieces that we had previously joined. R.2-3: 17sc. R.4: skip one sc, make 15sc. R.5: skip one sc, make 13sc. R.6: skip one sc, make 11sc. R.7: skip one sc, make 9sc. Finish with sl st.

Handles (x2):

Wrap the entire wooden handle with sc, starting with 9sc that will be worked through the 9sc we had in the last row of the top of the purse. Continue making sc, wrapping the entire wooden handle until it is completely filled. Finish with a sl st.
