HOW TO KNIT NORDIC SOCKS?
ABBREVIATIONS
- Single crochet: sc.
- Increase: inc.
- Decrease: dec
SIZE 38-39 ⦁ Magic ring of 6 sc. ⦁ 1 sc. 1 inc. Continue increasing in a circle until round 6. ⦁ 8 rounds of sc without inc. ⦁ Divide the work in half and place 2 stitch markers on each side. ⦁ Continue working in sc, this time reaching each stitch marker, make 1 inc. In total, make 8 rounds (this is to widen the instep of the foot).

Make 5 rounds in sc without inc. Divide in half again and place 2 stitch markers on each side (this is to divide the heel).

Now knit in rows of 10 rounds in sc with decreases at the beginning and end (this shape is for the bottom of the heel)

The last row bordering the heel and instep.

8 border rounds on the heel and instep, we use the corners of the previous heel piece to make decreases in the following 7 rounds (this will give us adjustment in the Achilles tendon area of our foot).

Join heel and instep, continue with our sc (7 rounds).

Go up in sc to the calf for a total of 13 rounds.

To decorate the final edge, 3 rounds of relief stitch.
