Bathroom basket

Many bathroom accessories can be made with Caricia Cinta yarn. Today we suggest a basket to store towels with a fun touch: owl eyes that will make sure everything is in order.

YOU WILL NEED

Caricia Cinta color 218 (5 balls) and colors 202, 213, and 220 (1 ball of each color)
5.5 mm crochet hook
White thread and sewing needle

Ch: chain. - Sl st: slip stitch. - Sc: single crochet. - Dec: decrease. - Inc: increase. - MR: magic ring. - Rnd: round / Rnds: rounds. - St: stitch / stitches.

HOW TO MAKE THE BATHROOM BASKET?

Finished Size: 26cm diameter and 34cm high. To start with Caricia Cinta Col. 218, make an MR, "work as follows": - Rnd.1: 8sc in MR. Finish with a sl st. - Rnd.2: 2sc in each sc: 16sc. Finish with a sl st. - Rnd.3: inc. 1 st every 2 sts, 24 sc in total. Finish with a sl st. From this round, the increased stitches are spaced out more until reaching 26cm in diameter (total 18 rnds from the start with a total of 102 sts.) - Rnd.4: 35 sts. - Rnd.5: 46 sts. - Rnd.6: 58 sts. - Rnd.7: 66 sts. - Rnd.8: 68 sts. - Rnd.9: 72 sts. - Rnd.10: 74 sts. - Rnd.11: 82 sts. - Rnd.12: 90 sts. - Rnd.13: 92 sts. - Rnd.14: 94 sts. - Rnd.15: 96 sts. - Rnd.16: 98 sts. - Rnd.17: 100 sts. - Rnd.18: 102 sts. This finishes the bottom, and now continue crocheting straight until it is 21cm high (22 rnds.) In this rnd. dec. 4 sts distributed every 25 sts and dec. 1 st (total 98 sts.). Work one rnd without dec. and in the next rnd. dec. another 4 sts distributed every 24 sts and dec. 1 st (total 94 sts.). Again, work one rnd without dec. and a last rnd. decreasing another 4 sts distributed every 23 sts, dec. 1 st (total 90 sts.). Then, work all sc for 6 rnds. Repeat the previous decrease sequence but in increases, until reaching a total height of 34cm from the end of the base. Finish with a sl st. EYES With Caricia Cinta Col. 220, make an MR with 5sc. Change to white color 202 and make 8hdc, continue with dc making 2 sts in each previous st. In the next rnd, make 2dc in each previous st. The last 5 sts are made looser than the previous ones so that they end in a point (see photo). (make two identical parts).
