Glitter Shawl

On this occasion, we bring you a project that is ideal for cool summer nights and in-between seasons. With a sparkling touch and a delicacy that are pure love, the Chal Destellos by Made by Rebeca is so versatile that you can wear it with more formal looks or elevate your daily outfits with it. Shall we begin?

MATERIALS

4 balls Caricia Destellos. Color 107. 75 g./ 190 m. 4.5 mm hook. Measuring tape. Yarn needle. Scissors. Stitch markers (optional). 

HOW TO MAKE THE DESTELLOS SHAWL?

MEASUREMENTS The measurements of this shawl are 146 cm wide and 60 cm high. STITCHES

• Chain – ch
• Double crochet – dc
• Treble crochet - tr
• Slip stitch - sl st

  BEFORE YOU START

• This shawl is crocheted with granny stitch, meaning 3 dc in the same stitch/space. (See chart on page 5)
• It starts by crocheting from the point.
• The shawl increases as it is crocheted, as an extra granny stitch is made in each row.
• Finally, a border will be made on both sides of the shawl. (see chart page 5)
• A total of 59 rows have been crocheted.
• You can make the shawl as large as you want. You just need to crochet more rows until you reach the size you like best.
• The stitches marked in brackets [ ] are made in the same stitch or space.

Chain 6. Row 1: In the first chain, make 3 dc. Chain 1. Make 1 tr in the first chain. Turn. Row 2: Chain 5. In the chain space, make 3 dc. Chain 1. In the next space, make 3 dc. Chain 1. Make 1 tr on the 5th ch from the beginning of the previous row. Turn. Row 3: Chain 5. In the first space, make 3 dc. Chain 1. *In the next space, make 3 dc. Chain 1*. Repeat *. Make 1 tr on the 4th ch from the beginning of the previous row. Turn. Row 4: Chain 5. In the first space, make 3 dc. Chain 1. *In the next space, make 3 dc. Chain 1*. Repeat *. Make 1 tr on the 4th ch from the beginning of the previous row. Turn. Rows 5 to 59: Repeat row 4. Now, without cutting the yarn, continue crocheting the border.

BORDER

Continue crocheting from where you are, but along the side of the shawl. Row 1: On the tr, make [1 sl st, 5 dc]. On the next chains, make 1 sl st. *On the next tr, make [1 sl st, 5 dc]. On the next chains, make 1 sl st.* Repeat * until you reach the center. Continue crocheting on the other side. Row 2: On the chains, make [1 sl st, 5 dc]. On the tr, make 1 sl st. *On the next chains, make [1 sl st, 5 dc]. On the next tr, make 1 sl st.* Repeat * until you reach the end of the side. Close with 1 sl st, on the 5th ch. Cut the yarn and hide the ends. Congratulations! You have finished the Chal Destellos.
