CROCHET XMAS - Candy canes

Designer Albita de Plata has created the pattern to make these candy canes using Caricia Cordón Brillo material. Dare to try the CrochetXMas project this Christmas!  

YOU WILL NEED:

   3 units Caricia Cordón Brillo (colors 201, 205, 208) 12mm Hook You can purchase the materials through the link to our online store listed above.  

HOW TO MAKE THE CANDY CANES?

ABBREVIATIONS:

ch: chain sc: single crochet  

PATTERN:

Start with a chain of 40 ch. Work 2 sc in each chain; you will have a total of 80 sc, and you will see the cord curling as you make the increases. If it doesn't curl enough, you can make 3 sc in each chain instead of two. Make another cord in the same way, and once they are curled, interlace the two cords. You can hang it on the wall with a string and shape it into a cane or place it as a decoration wherever you like! Easy, right?
