Decorative Shelf Caricia Cordón

YOU WILL NEED
- Caricia Cordón color 101: 1 ball
- 3 wooden shelves
- Scissors
HOW TO MAKE THIS DECORATIVE SHELF
MACRAMÉ KNOTS USED
- Simple Knot
- Square Knot
Beginning:
- Cut 8 strands of Caricia Cordón 3m long. Divide them into two groups of 4, fold each in half and link them. This link will be the top hanger for our shelf.
First Shelf:
- In each bundle of 8 strands, at a distance of 13cm from the link, tie a simple knot. Then, insert 4 strands through each of the holes of the first shelf, and place it 10cm from the simple knot.
Second Shelf
- Next, tie 3 square knots on each cord, both the two in front and the two in back. At a distance of 4cm, tie a new square knot on all cords. Again, tie 3 square knots at a distance of 4cm from the previous knot. Finally, insert the 4 cords into the holes of the second shelf.
Third Shelf and Finishing
- 4. Repeat step number 3, adding the last shelf at the end and tie a simple knot on each 4-strand cord to secure it. Cut all strands to the same length.
