STITCHES USED

- Stockinette stitch (see tutorial stockinette stitch)
- Garter stitch (see tutorial garter stitch)
- Fancy stitch:
In stockinette stitch: *4 rows in grey COL Nº 007, 2 rows in red, COL Nº 008.* Repeat this sequence until the end of the work.
GAUGE
In stockinette stitch, with double yarn: 10 x 10 cm = 28 sts x 40 rows.
HOW TO MAKE THE CARDIGAN?
The cardigan is made in one piece and worked with double yarn.
Back
With Caricia baby wool COL grey Nº 007, cast on 72 sts. and knit 4 rows in garter stitch. Continue working in fancy stitch. In the 32nd row, begin to decrease to form the armhole as follows: bind off 5 sts. on both sides (1 st. every 2 rows).
Next, in the following 32 rows, increase to form the Japanese sleeve, increasing 14 sts in total (1 st. on both sides every 2 rows). We have reached the shoulder.
Neckline
In the 84th row, the back neckline is made by binding off the 28 central sts. Knit the next 12 rows without increases or decreases, continuing each front separately.
Front (Make two)
Both fronts are worked separately. We knit in the same way we worked the increases and decreases on both sides of the back (to form the armhole and the sleeve).
To form the neckline of each front, you need to increase from the 104th row, from the beginning of the work, 14 sts distributed over the next 40 rows (1 st. every 2 rows).
Finish each front by knitting the last 4 rows in garter stitch. Bind off.
ASSEMBLY AND FINISHING
Cardigan
To finish the edges of each sleeve, insert the knitting needle, picking up a total of 50 stitches, to slightly gather the edge. Knit 4 rows in garter stitch. Bind off.
To finish the back and front necklines, insert the knitting needle along the entire length of the neckline. Pick up the necessary stitches and knit 4 rows in garter stitch. Bind off and finish.
Sew the back to the fronts.
To fasten both fronts, make two braids 20 cm long each, tie a small knot at the ends and leave some fringes. Sew on each side.
HOW TO MAKE THE BLOOMERS?
Front
Start the work at the waist.
With Caricia wool COL Nº 008, cast on 66 sts and knit 12 rows in stockinette stitch. In the 12th row, continue working in fancy stitch, increasing 10 sts proportionally distributed along the row.
Continue knitting, increasing 1 st on both sides in the 18th row and in the 36th row (4 more sts in total).
To form the leg, when you have a length of 15 cm, bind off 6 central stitches. Continue working separately for 17 more rows, and in the 18th row, reduce by decreasing 7 sts proportionally distributed along the row. Continue working in elastic stitch for 6 rows. Bind off.
Work the other leg in the same way.
Back
Work the same as the front.
ASSEMBLY AND FINISHING
Bloomers
Sew the front to the back, fold the waist in half, sew and insert an elastic band so that it gathers. Finish.
