HOW TO MAKE THE FRENCH SLEEVE SWEATER?
Size 38
Work everything in stockinette stitch.
Front
Cast on 100 sts. Work 6 rows of elastic stitch. In the first colored row, increase 8 sts evenly. The green stripes are worked with 4 rows and the beige ones with 6 rows.
At 38 cm from the beginning of the sweater, shape the armhole, decreasing on both sides 5-3-2-2-1-1. Continue and at 20 cm from the armhole, shape the shoulders, decreasing 5-5-6. With the remaining sts, work 2 rows and bind off all sts straight.
Back
Work exactly the same as the front, with the same decreases and measurements.
Sleeves
Cast on 50 sts – 6 rows of elastic stitch. In the first green colored row, increase 6 sts evenly.
Up to the beginning of the sleeve cap, it measures 28 cm; in this space, increase 7 sts on each side.
The sleeve cap will be as follows: first 5 sts-3-2-3-3-3 and all remaining sts.
Sew the sides and shoulders. Sew the sleeves and fit them into the armholes. Leave the neckline as is.
