HOW TO MAKE THE GIRLS' SUIT WITH PANTIES?

SIZE 1-2 YEARS

DIFFICULTY 3

Front

Cast on 185 stitches and work 6 rows of knit stitch. In the next row, take the stitches 2 by 2 and cast on the yarn over, to make the eyelets of the hem, then 6 rows of knit stitch. In the next row, begin the skirt pattern. First 5 knit stitches, followed by 5 double seed stitches, 14 knit stitches, 5 double seed stitches, 14 knit stitches, repeating everything except the first and last 5 stitches (see photo). At 26 cm, decrease stitches 2 by 2, leaving 98 stitches. Continue with double seed stitch until the end.

Armhole

At 4 cm from the beginning of the seed stitch, shape the armhole by decreasing 6 stitches - 3 stitches - 1 stitch - 1 stitch - 1 stitch on both sides. At 17 cm, shape the neckline. Close the central 11 stitches, continue with one side and then the other, decreasing 4 stitches - 3 stitches - 1 stitch - 1 stitch - 1 stitch.

Shoulder

Decrease 7 stitches - 7 stitches and 6 stitches.

Back

Cast on 72 stitches and make the same eyelet pattern as the front. At 26 cm, decrease 29 stitches in one row, and then start the seed stitch with the remaining 45 stitches.

Armhole

At 4 cm, decrease 3 stitches - 2 stitches - 1 stitch - 1 stitch - 1 stitch - 1 stitch.

Shoulder and neckline

This is done at the same height as the front. The shoulder is 7 stitches - 7 stitches - 6, and the neckline is 7 stitches - 6 stitches - 3 stitches. The decreases for the shoulder and neckline begin simultaneously. The other back piece is made the same way, but in reverse.

Sleeves

Cast on 54 stitches and work 8 rows of elastic stitch (1-1). In the next row, increase 16 stitches at once, resulting in 70 stitches to distribute for the same pattern as the rest. At 5 cm, shape the armhole and the top. Start by closing 5 stitches on both sides, then 10 stitches 1 by 1, then 2 stitches - 2 stitches - 3 stitches - 3 stitches - 6 stitches and close the remaining ones.

Front of panties

Cast on 37 stitches and distribute as follows: 6 garter stitches at the ends, and in the middle 10 knit stitches, 5 seed stitches, and 10 knit stitches (see photo). Work 20 rows, and in the next row, after the 5 garter stitches, cast on the yarn over, and at the end before the 6 garter stitches, cast on the yarn over again. This way, increases are made in all rows until there are 14 increases. In the next row, increase 6 stitches at the beginning of the row and at the end. Work 8 rows to finish the leg opening. Continue until reaching 10 cm, then start the elastic stitch for the waistband. Work 18 rows and bind off all stitches.

Back of panties

From the crotch of the front piece, pick up the same number of stitches to create the same trim. From the first row, make the increase of stitches with eyelets on the sides of the 6 garter stitches. Continue until reaching the same height as the front opening, which is 21 increases (eyelets). Finish the opening and continue until the same length as the elastic waistband. This is done the same way.

Assembly and Finishing

Iron all pieces. First, sew the shoulders, and crochet 2 rows of slip stitch around the neckline. Along the back opening, pick up the necessary stitches to work 8 rows of garter stitch, making buttonholes on one side. Then, sew the side seams of the suit and the sleeve seams, then sew them into the armholes. Sew on the buttons. Sew the sides of the panties, fold the upper elastic, sew it, and insert the white elastic.
