HOW TO MAKE THE COAT?
Front:

Cast on 30 sts and work in garter stitch until you have a length of 32 cm, at which point we begin the buttonholes on the right side of the work. Buttonholes and neckline: We will make 2 buttonholes: knit 3 sts, decrease 1 st, knit 10 sts, decrease 1 st. Continue working in garter stitch until the end of the row. In the next row, where we decreased, yarn over to recover that stitch. Continue in garter stitch until the end of the row. (see tutorial: Buttonholes) Work for 6 more rows in garter stitch and shape the neckline: on the right side of the work, bind off 18 sts (12 cm) and finish the row. Work 8 more rows and bind off all sts. Work the other front side the same, without buttonholes and keeping in mind that you must bind off the neckline on the wrong side of the work, so they face each other.
Back:

Cast on 42 sts and work in garter stitch until reaching a length of 37 cm. At this height, bind off 6 sts. on each side and in the next row bind off all stitches.
Sleeves:

Cast on 34 sts and work in garter stitch. At 28 cm height, bind off all stitches. Make the other sleeve the same.
Hood:
Cast on 57 stitches and work in garter stitch. When you reach a length of 19 cm, bind off all stitches.
ASSEMBLY AND FINISHING:
Follow the diagram, it's very easy.

Always sew on the right side of the work (see tutorial: seams) Sew the shoulders. Fold each sleeve and sew its sides. (C with C) Place the sleeve over the shoulder, centered, and sew, adapting it to the opening created between the front and back. Sew the hood (A with A), and sew the areas marked with a green zigzag (B) to the green areas of the fronts and back. Carefully adapt the hood to the size of the neckline of the fronts and back. Fold up the bottom of the sleeve to embellish your little coat and make it last a few more years. Sew on the buttons and fasten.
Finishing:

Did you expect it like this? You'll see how warm it is and how beautiful it looks when worn! With this coat, you can take your child out of the house without fear of them catching a cold. And best of all is the feel; you'll want to hug them all the time.
