HOW TO MAKE THE AMIGURUMI TURTLE?

Body:

Magic ring

1st rnd. Begin by crocheting a magic ring of 6 sc.

In the 2nd rnd. *Crochet 2 sc. in each stitch*, repeat until the end of the rnd. (12 st.).
3rd rnd. *Crochet 1 sc. and make 2 sc. in the next stitch*, repeat until the end of the row (18 st.).
4th rnd. *Crochet 2 sc. and 2 sc. in the next stitch*, repeat until the end of the rnd. (24 st.).
5th rnd. *Crochet 3 sc. and make 2 sc. in the next stitch*, repeat until the end of the row (30 st.).
6th rnd. *Crochet 4 sc. and 2 sc. in the next stitch* repeat until the end of the rnd. (36 st.).
7th rnd. *Crochet 5 sc., 2 sc. in the next stitch*, repeat until the end, (42 st.).
8th rnd. *Crochet 6 sc., 2 sc. in the next stitch*, repeat (48 st.).

Continue until rnd. 31st without increases, following the striped stitch.

33rd rnd. make 78 sc.
34th rnd. * 11 sc. and decrease 1 st.* repeat 6 times (72 st.)
35th rnd. make 72 sc.

Leave a yarn tail to sew and finish off.

Head:

In gray col 042, start the same as the body up to the 5th rnd. and continue as follows:

From the 6th to the 11th rnd. crochet without increasing (30 st.)
12th rnd. * 3 sc. decrease 1 st.* repeat 6 times (24 st.)
13th to 15th rnd. crochet without increasing (24 st.)

Face:

Embroider the eyes in black col, at the height of the 6th rnd. For the mouth, with pink col yarn, make 2 wide horizontal passes, at the height of the 3rd rnd.

Legs:

Make 4. Crochet the same as the head up to the 3rd rnd. (18 st.). Continue as follows: From the 4th to the 12th rnd. crochet 18 sc. Leave a long yarn tail to sew to the body.

ASSEMBLY AND FINISHING:

Stuff the head with wadding, sew the opening, and sew to the body so that it is well secured and upright. Stuff the legs, close the opening, and sew to the body proportionally on both sides of the body.

Cord:

Choose the color you like best, that contrasts with the base color, and chain 90 stitches. Close and fasten off. Pass the cord around the backpack, weaving it every 2 sc. and 2 rnds. from the closing. Pull and make a loop.
