YOU WILL NEED

BASE PATTERN

- Magic ring of 12dc. - 12 increases (24dc). - *1dc, 1inc* all around (36dc). - *2dc, 1inc* all around (48dc). - *3dc, 1inc* all around (60dc). - *4dc, 1inc* all around (72dc). - *5dc, 1inc* all around (84dc). - *6dc, 1inc* all around (96dc). - *7dc, 1inc* all around (102dc).

HOW TO MAKE BAG #1?

*color 1* - Make the base. - Begin the first round, without cutting the yarn from the base, with 5ch, which equals 1dc and 2ch, and skipping two dc below, make another dc and another two ch. This is the pattern we will follow for 4 rounds: "1dc - 2ch (skipping 2 stitches below)" - All around making sc, one in the double crochet and two in the space of two chains (108 stitches). *color 2* - All around making sc (108 stitches). - Repeat the series of "1dc - 2ch (skipping 2 stitches below)" for 9 more rounds. - All around making sc (108 stitches). * color 1* - All around making sc (108 stitches). - Repeat the series of "1dc - 2ch (skipping 2 stitches below)" for 2 more rounds. - All around making sc (108 stitches). - Handles: 29sc, 50ch, skip 25 stitches below, 29sc, 50ch, skip 25 stitches below. - Finish with a round of sl st, cut and hide ends.

HOW TO MAKE BAG #2?

*color 1* - Start by making 42ch as the base for the project. Work around these chains on each side making dc, for a total of 84. - Begin the first round with 4ch, which equals 1dc and 1ch, and skipping one dc below, make another dc and another ch. This is the pattern we will follow for 12 rounds: "1dc - 1ch (skipping 1 stitch below)" - All around making sc, one in the double crochet and one in the space of one chain (84 stitches). *color 2* - All around making sc (84 stitches). - Repeat the series of "1dc - 1ch (skipping 1 stitch below)" for 7 more rounds. - Make 3 complete rounds of sc (84 stitches each). - Handles: 7sc, 28ch, skip 28 stitches from the previous round, 14sc, 28ch, skip 28 stitches from the previous round, 7sc. - 6sc, 1pm, 28dc (in the chain space of the previous round), 1pm, 12sc, 1pm, 28dc (in the chain space of the previous round), 1pm, 6sc. - To finish, make a complete round of sl st all around the edge. - Cut and hide ends.

HOW TO MAKE BAG #3?

*color 1* - Start by making 30ch as the base for the project. Work around these chains on each side making dc, for a total of 60dc. - Begin the first round with 5ch, which equals 1dc and 2ch, and skipping two dc below, make another dc and another two ch. This is the pattern we will follow for 10 rounds: "1dc - 2ch (skipping 2 stitches below)" - All around making sc, one in the double crochet and two in the space of two chains (60 stitches). *color 2* - All around making sc (60 stitches). - Repeat the series of "1dc - 2ch (skipping 2 stitches below)" for 14 more rounds. - Make 3 complete rounds of sc (60 stitches each). - Handles: 6sc as the base of the handle and continue making rows of 6sc, turning the work, for 35 rounds. - Skip 24dc on the edge of the bag and join the last row of the handle with 6sl st. - To finish, make a round of sl st on the edge of the bag and a row of sl st on each side of the handle. Cut and hide ends. - Optional: make a fabric bag for the base, which will serve as a crumb catcher.

FINISHING
