HOW TO MAKE THE CHILDREN'S POUF?

To begin the pouf, we will start by crocheting the base as follows. R1: mr with 12 dc (12dc) R2: inc in each st (24 dc) R3: dc, inc (36dc) R4: 2dc, inc (48dc) R5: 3dc, inc (60dc) R6: 4dc, inc (72 dc) R7: 5dc, inc (84 dc) Now we will crochet the body of our pouf; in the next round, we will only crochet into the back loop of our work. R8: in back loop only, dc in each stitch (84dc) R9 to R14: dc in each stitch (now picking up both loops of the stitch) (84dc) Up to this point, you have crocheted the base and the height of the pouf. Cut the yarn, leaving a long tail that we will use later. To finish our pouf, we will crochet the lid. This will allow us to disassemble it for future washing and give our project greater durability. To crochet the lid, crochet another base by repeating rounds R1 to R7, and leave a fairly long tail as we will use it for sewing later. Place the filling inside, and position the lid on top, aligning the stitches. Sew by picking up one stitch from each side. When finished, next to the end of the cord you left when finishing the body, tie a pretty bow and cut the excess cord. This way, when you want to wash it or change the filling, you will only need to untie the cord and carefully unsew it, keeping your pouf in perfect condition.
