HOW TO MAKE THE BAG?

The Chic drawstring bag is worked in one piece.

Base

Magic Ring Start by making a magic ring of 10 dc. This ring is

 

 the 1st rnd.

 

  Continue working as follows: 

 Start each rnd by making 2 chain stitches.

• 2nd rnd. *Work 2 dc in each stitch*, repeat from *to*, (20 st)
• 3rd rnd. *Work 1 dc and make 1 inc., (2 dc in the next stitch)*, repeat from *to*, (30 st)
• 4th rnd. *Work 2 dc and 1 inc. in the next stitch*, repeat from *to*, (40 st)
• 5th rnd. *Work 3 dc and make 1 inc.*, repeat from *to*, (50 st)
• 6th rnd. *Work 4 dc 1 inc.*, repeat from *to*, (60 st)
• 7th rnd. *Work 5 dc 1 inc.* repeat from *to*, (70 st)
• 8th rnd. *Work 6 dc 1 inc.*, repeat from *to*, (80 st)
• 9th rnd. *Work 7 dc 1 inc.*, repeat from *to*, (90 st)

Bag Body

  

 

• 10th rnd. Work 90 st without inc. To create the separation between the base of the circle and the body of the bag, insert the crochet hook through the center of the chain.
• From the 11th rnd. to the 25th rnd., work without increasing. Work the last rnd in slip stitch. Fasten off.

 

Strap

To form the bag strap:

At the beginning of the 26th rnd., work in dc. 10 st. Turn the work and continue working these 10 st vertically. Continue working for 64 more rnds.

Join the strap to the other end of the bag with slip stitches.

Fasten off and weave in ends.
