HOW TO MAKE THE TRAINING JACKET?
DIFFICULTY LEVEL 2 SIZE M BACK Cast on 96 sts. and work 13 rows in 1x1 rib stitch. In the next row, decrease 8 sts at once. Continue in moss stitch for 96 rows. This brings us to the armhole, decreasing 3 sts - 2 sts - 1 st - 1 st (45 cm) on both sides. Continue for 54 rows (22 cm) reaching the shoulder. Decrease 6 sts - 6 sts - 7 sts on both sides and bind off the remaining stitches. FRONT Cast on 50 sts and work the ribbing the same as the back. In the next row, decrease 4 sts at once. Start the moss stitch until reaching the armhole at the same height as the back. At 40 rows from the armhole (13 cm), shape the neck by decreasing first 5 sts - 3 sts - 2 sts - 1 st - 1 st - 1 st - 1 st. The shoulder is the same as the back. The other front is the same but reversed. SLEEVE Cast on 48 sts and work the ribbing the same as the previous ones. In the next row, decrease 4 sts and start the moss stitch. Until starting the sleeve cap, there are 59 rows (49 cm), increasing 9 sts on each side along the sleeve, evenly distributed. SLEEVE CAP Decrease first 7 sts (1 by 1), then 2 sts - 2 sts - 2 sts - 2 sts - 3 sts - 3 sts on each side and bind off the remaining stitches. POCKET Cast on 30 sts and work 20 rows. On one side, decrease 2 sts - 1 st - 1 st - 2 sts - 1 st - 1 st - 1 st - 1 st - 1 st. Work 4 more rows and bind off the remaining stitches. Make another piece the same but reversed. HOOD Cast on 140 sts. Work 10 rows in stockinette stitch, followed by moss stitch. From here, work 38 rows (approx. 13 cm). Here, the piece is separated, one side is placed on a stitch holder, and we continue with the other side, decreasing on the center part and in all rows: 2 sts - 1 st - 2 sts - 2 sts - 1 st - 1 st - 1 st - 2 sts - 1 st - 2 sts - 2 sts - 3 sts, and then bind off all remaining stitches. Take the reserved stitches and work this part the same as the previous one. ASSEMBLY AND FINISHING Sew the sides and shoulders. Sew the sleeve seams and attach them to the armholes. To sew the hood, join the decreased sides, and that will be the back seam. On the front (stockinette stitch side), make a hem inwards and insert a cord made with two strands of Caricia Eco Cordón (about 150 cm). Finally, attach the hood to the neck opening and sew on the pockets and zipper.
