TYPES OF STITCHES

MR - Magic Ring SC - Single Crochet INC - Increase DC - Double Crochet BOB - Bobble Stitch RS - Reverse Single Crochet

HOW TO DO REVERSE SINGLE CROCHET?

1. It is done in the same way as a Single Crochet, but crocheting completely in the opposite direction. Instead of making stitches to the left, you make them to the right. 2. Insert the hook into the stitch to the right of the one you are working on and pull up a loop. 3. Yarn over again. 4. Pull that yarn through the two loops on the hook.

HOW TO DO THE BOBBLE STITCH?

1. This stitch is worked from inside the basket, because for the bobble to appear on the right side (outside) it must be worked from the wrong side (inside). 2. Make 5 double crochets in the same stitch, but leave them unclosed. 3. Close all the double crochets together. 4. You now have the bobble on the outside.

STEPS TO FOLLOW

- Round 1: Start with a Magic Ring with 6 SC (see photo 1 below) - Round 4: *2 SC - 1 INC* Repeat around (24 SC in total). - Round 5: *3 SC - 1 INC* Repeat around (30 SC in total). - Round 6: *4 SC - 1 INC* Repeat around (36 SC in total). - Continue in this way until you have the base the size you like best. IMPORTANT: the total stitches in the last round must be a multiple of 8 (see photo 2 below) - Make 2 rounds of DC (see photo 3 below) - Bobble Stitch round, which we do by turning the work and crocheting from inside the basket. Repeat this sequence around: 1 BOB - 7 SC. - Another two rounds of DC. - Bobble Stitch round, CAUTION! if in the previous BOB round we started with the BOBBLE, now we start with 3 SC, BOB and then continue as in the previous BOB round (1 SC - 1 BOB) The idea is that the bobbles do not end up directly on top of the bobbles from the previous round. - This series of bobble rounds and two DC rounds can be done as many times as we want our basket to be tall, but we will always finish on a bobble stitch round. - To finish, we will make one round of DC and one round of RS.
