This crocheted blanket is made little by little, by crocheting rosettes of different colors. The result is a beautiful, fresh and soft blanket for your baby. You can take it for a walk, to the beach or use it at home.

YOU WILL NEED

 For measurements of 1.10 long x 70 wide

• 100% cotton yarn Caricia Perlés No. 5, No. 500, No. 305, No. 403, No. 004, No. 210, No. 303, No. 502, No. 400, No. 600, No. 205, No. 209, No. 701, No. 601, No. 207, No. 402, No. 201 (1 ball of each color)
• Crochet hook No. 3 mm.
• Tapestry needle

STITCHES USED

• Single crochet: sc. (see tutorial single crochet)
• Double crochet: dc. (see tutorial double crochet)
• Slip stitch: sl st.
• Chain stitch: ch.
• Acorn stitch: Make 4 dc, then insert the hook through the chain of the first dc and make 1 sl st. This forms a little acorn.

HOW TO MAKE THE BLANKET?

Make 96 rosettes, crocheting a total of 6 rosettes of each color.

Rosette

Chain 9 and close with 1 sl st. to form a ring.

Always finish each round with 1 sl st. And always start each round with 3 ch, (equals 1 dc.)

1st round. *acorn stitch, 3 ch*, repeat 8 times (you get 8 acorn stitches).

2nd round. *make 2 acorn stitches, 3 ch, 3 dc, 3 ch*, repeat until the end of the round.

3rd round. * make 2 acorn stitches, 3 ch, 7 dc, 3 ch*, repeat until the end of the round.

4th round. * make 2 acorn stitches, 3 ch, 11 dc, 3 ch*, repeat until the end of the round.

5th round. Work in single crochet with color No. 500. Secure.

ASSEMBLY AND FINISHING

Arrange the different rosettes, paying attention to the balance of colors, and sew them together with a tapestry needle and cotton thread of the appropriate color, leaving the rounded corners unsewn; there are 14 stitches on each side.

Finishing

Once all the rosettes are sewn, crochet the final trim as follows:

1st round, work in single crochet around the blanket, making 10 ch in the corners.

2nd round, work in single crochet, increasing 1 sc in the corners.

Iron with warm heat.
