Albita de Plata surprises us with a new trendy design. Today she shows us how to crochet a bandana step by step, including a chart for this project, which is amust-havethis season.
Step-by-step pattern for crocheting a bandana with Caricia Fulgor:
Clarifications:
–We will work in rows, meaning turning the work at the end of each row and starting the next row with the number of chains indicated in the chart.
– You can crochet the bandana to any size you wish, as it starts from the center and grows row by row. You only need to repeat two rows, you can do it as many times as you like!
Finishing and Edging:
Once you have crocheted the desired size, always finishing with a row that is the same as row 7, it's time to make the border.
We begin the final row with: 1ch – 1sc in the 2ch of the previous row – *11dtr in the 4ch space – 1sc in the middle stitch of the 3dtr of the previous row*.
Repeat from * to * until we reach the central corner of the bandana, where we will make: 7dtr in the 4ch space – 5dtr in the 2ch space – 7dtr in the 4ch space. Continue along the second side repeating the sequence from the first side (1sc – 11dtr) until we reach the two final chains, where we will make 1sc.
Without cutting the yarn, we will continue crocheting the entire base with sc (4 for each side row of the bandana) and when we reach the end, we make 100ch. We go back through the 100ch making 100sl st, continue with sl st (through the front loop only) over the sc of the base and finish at the other end making 100ch again and going back with 100sl st.
Cut the yarn and fasten off.
Remember that both the bandana and the cords at the ends can be made to your desired size, by making more or fewer rows (bandana) and more or fewer chains (cords).
