HOW TO MAKE THE LITTLE RED RIDING HOOD BONNET?
Knit everything in garter stitch except for the front edge, which is stockinette stitch. Cast on 116 stitches. At 12 rows, decrease 1 stitch on each side. At 20 rows, decrease 1 stitch on both sides and knit another 20 rows, then decrease another stitch on each side (total 3 stitches on each side). Counting from the beginning, at 70 rows, close 18 central stitches, continue with one side and set aside the other on the stitch holder. Counting from here, at 74 rows, begin the rounded shape of the head by decreasing at the beginning of each row (on the back side) 8 stitches 1 by 1, then 2 stitches - 2 stitches - 2 stitches, and then close all remaining stitches. Before sewing the back seam, pick up the necessary stitches from the front and knit 10 rows in stockinette stitch. First knit one side and then the other.
Construction and finishing
Sew the back seam and fold the front edge of stockinette stitch inward and sew. Using a crochet hook, make a chain of 130 cm and then 2 rows of slip stitch. This strip is threaded through the stockinette stitch hem around the face.
