HOW TO MAKE THE RETRO COLOR SWEATER?
Size M - L START I'll show you this technique for knitting the sweater, starting from the neck down. (Medium difficulty level) NECK Start by casting on 68 sts. on your circular needle. We will work in elastic stitch, 1 knit st. and 1 purl st. (rib stitch) (17 rows in total). YOKE After finishing the neck, divide the work into 4 parts with 17 sts. Place the stitch marker on the 17th st of the first row. This row will be worked with yarn overs, one before reaching the stitch marker and the next after passing the stitch marker. This will allow us to increase the yoke. / 0 / Once the yarn overs are marked, knit the yarn overs twisted in the next row, this will prevent the stitch from opening (keep the stitch marker as a guide). We will make color lines in 2 rows and then return to the main color with 3 rows. Our yoke will have a total of 40 rows. TORSO Separate the sleeves. To make part of the armhole, create 8 sts. on the needle, this will create width for the torso and sleeves. Once the separation is made, knit the torso, which will have a total of 44 rows. Finish with 12 sts. of elastic. SLEEVES Pick up the torso stitches added previously, join with the sleeves and knit. To make the sleeves, we will knit a total of 70 rows. On row 69, make an intermittent decrease. On row 70, knit straight without decreasing. Make the cuff in elastic, 2 knit sts., 2 purl sts. Total elastic sts. 12 rows.
