HOW TO MAKE THE CABLE KNIT CHILD'S SWEATER?

Instructions for a child's sweater (ages 10-12) Front: Cast on 108 stitches. Work 10 rows of elastic stitch (1-1). In the next row, increase 26 stitches evenly, for a total of 134 stitches to work the cable pattern. The stitches are distributed as follows: On the right side of the work, work 2 purl stitches - 10 knit stitches - 4 purl stitches - 12 knit stitches - 4 purl stitches - 10 knit stitches - 4 purl stitches - 12 knit stitches - 4 purl stitches - 10 knit stitches - 4 purl stitches - 12 knit stitches - 4 purl stitches - 10 knit stitches - 4 purl stitches - 12 knit stitches - 4 purl stitches - 10 knit stitches - 2 purl stitches.
