  • Hook size 7
  • Measuring tape
  • Scissors

You can purchase the materials through the links to our online store listed above.

MACRAMÉ KNOTS:

  • Square knot
  • Double half hitch knot

  • Row 1: Single crochet around the first row, making 2 single crochets in the same chain stitch at each end. Repeat the sequence in the next row.
  • Row 3: Crochet in a circular fashion, always with single crochet (without increasing at the ends).

BACKPACK FLAP:

  • On the last row of the backpack, use only one side and crochet over 30 chain stitches.
  • Make 4 rows of single crochet.
  • Chain 3, skip one chain space and close with a single crochet.

  • Place a lark's head knot in each chain stitch of the backpack flap.

  • Make the next square knot  in a descending manner

  • Border the square knot with 2 lines of double half hitch knots on both ends.

  • From the point of the nose, make another lines of diagonal half hitch stitches on both ends.
  • Next, make a diamond-shaped lark's head knot.

  • Border the square knots with double half hitch knots.
