Colorful wool purse

With Caricia Clásica yarn and a crochet hook, you can easily make this simple and beautiful coin purse. Choose the color you like best!

YOU WILL NEED:

• Caricia Clásica yarn. Choose your color
• 3.5 mm crochet hook
• Stitch marker
• Silver metal purse frame
• Needle and embroidery thread

HOW TO MAKE THE COIN PURSE?

We will work in the round, so it will be necessary to use a stitch marker to indicate the beginning of each round. This way, you won't get lost!

• 1st: Start by making a magic circle of 6 sc.

• 2nd: * Work 2 sc in each stitch *, repeat until the end of the rnd. (12 sts)

• 3rd rnd: * Work 1 sc and make 2 sc in the next ch. *, repeat until the end of the row, (18 sts).

• 4th rnd: * Work 2 sc and make 2 sc in the next ch. *, repeat until the end of the rnd. (24 sts).
• 5th rnd: * Work 3 sc and 2 sc in the next ch. * repeat until the end of the row, (30 sts).

• 6th rnd: * Work 4 sc and 2 sc in the next ch. * repeat until the

end of the rnd. (36 sts).

• 7th rnd: * Work 5 sc, 2 sc in the next ch. *, repeat, (42 sts).

• 8th rnd: * Work 6 sc, 2 sc in the next ch. *, repeat, (48 sts).

• 9th rnd: * Work 7 sc, 2 sc in the next ch. *, repeat, (54 sts).

• 10th rnd: * Work 8 sc, 2 sc in the next ch. *, repeat, (60 sts).

• 11th rnd: * Work 9 sc, 2 sc in the next ch. *, repeat, (66 sts).

Work 16 rounds without increasing. 

 Work the last rnd in slip stitch.  

ASSEMBLY AND FINISHING

Close and fasten off the work.

The diameter of the coin purse should match that of the frame.

Place the silver frame over the opening of the coin purse and sew the work with a needle and thread of the same color. See the photos.

 

FINISHED PRODUCT

  If you use Caricia cotton thread instead of yarn, the coin purse will turn out smaller. Try different materials and colors!
