Dolls with a lot of love
María Dolores's amigurumis exude love in every stitch. She has sent us her latest creations from Toledo. We hope you like them! A few months ago, our friend María Dolores Montero contacted us to ask for some colors of Perlé Caricia yarn that she couldn't find in her usual store for her amigurumis. Since then, we haven't stopped receiving photos of her beautiful work! They are truly adorable! She is skilled in all manual tasks. She started doing crafts, as she tells us herself, almost since she was a baby. She is an expert in crochet and bobbin lace, a skill she inherited from her family. She fondly remembers how her grandmother would see a sweater in a shop window, go home, and within a few days, manage to make an identical one herself. Her passion for amigurumis came a few years ago, when she started making them through the internet. And as you can see in the photos, she is already quite an artist. Her family and friends enjoy these cotton dolls as gifts or souvenirs. She has promised her children a Nativity scene for next Christmas and us photos of hers, which is growing little by little and which we know will be something to admire by December. Congratulations, María Dolores, on your gift for crafts! And thank you very much for sharing it with us!
