Girls' striped pinafore dress
Striped garments are very cheerful and easy to combine, as you have many colors to play with when choosing the accompanying garment. We have chosen pink and gray tones for this girls' striped pinafore dress, which you can easily knit by following our pattern.

YOU WILL NEED:

For a 6-7 year old size
- Caricia Rayas yarn color 002 (3 skeins)
- 4 mm knitting needles
- Tapestry needle
- 2 wooden buttons
STITCHES USED:
- Garter stitch (see tutorial garter stitch)
HOW TO KNIT THE GIRLS' STRIPED PINAFORE DRESS?
Back
With Caricia Rayas yarn color 002 and knitting needles, cast on 90 sts. Every 12 rows, increase 1 st on each side (a total of 12 sts on both sides). At 40 cm, shape the armhole.
Armhole
Bind off 9 sts on each side at once. Continue for 22 more rows.
Straps
To begin the straps, place the first 9 sts on a stitch holder and bind off the next 30 sts; With the remaining 9 sts, continue straight until reaching 15 cm and then bind off. Work the previous 9 sts in the same way.
Front
Work the same as the back. Cast on the same number of sts as for the back and shape the armhole following the previous instructions, but at 45 cm, make the buttonholes for 2 sts (see tutorial how to make buttonholes). After 6 rows, bind off all sts.
ASSEMBLY AND FINISHING
Sew the sides and tack. Finally, sew the wooden buttons onto the two straps.
FINISHED LOOK

As you may have noticed, this is a very simple pattern, and the result is surprising: Caricia Rayas yarn makes the work much easier, as you only need one skein to achieve the desired print and colors. Do you dare to follow this step-by-step guide?
