HOW TO KNIT THE LUNAR PHASE BED RUNNER?

Stitches used

ch: chain

sc: single crochet

Clarifications

- The measurements of the piece are 32x155cm (without counting the fringes)

- We are going to make a single crochet piece, to which we will later add fringes on one or both sides, optionally.

- We will work in rows, always making one chain stitch at the beginning of each row (which will not count as a stitch) and turning the work.

- The design is made with the Tapestry technique, that is, carrying both color strands throughout the piece.

Pattern

Start with 30 ch (+1 for height).

Row 1: All sc (30 sts)

Row 2: All sc (30 sts)

Row 3-153: Make the design as shown in the charts

Row 154: All sc (30 sts)

Row 155: All sc (30 sts)

*As you can see, the design consists of 9 mini charts, which you will need to make as shown, one after another with nothing in between.

Close with a slip stitch.

We now have the main piece. Now, if you wish, you can add fringes to the beginning and end rows to extend its length or as an embellishment.

Once we have the complete piece, we can use it as a bed runner (as shown in the images), as a decorative tapestry, as a table runner, or even as a scarf!
