HOW TO MAKE THE MARISOL LEGGINGS?

The Marisol Leggings consist of two pieces that are knitted identically: a front piece and a back piece which will then be joined at the sides and the inside. Both pieces begin by knitting the waistband, continue through the hip, and then the piece is divided into two to form the legs.

FRONT PIECE

With 3mm needles: cast on 75 stitches and begin by making the waistband:

rows 1 to 26: knit all stitches in 1x1 rib stitch (1 knit stitch, 1 purl stitch)

With 3.5mm needles:

rows 27 to 76: knit all stitches in 3x3 rib stitch (3 knit stitches, 3 purl stitches)

row 77: knit 36 stitches in 3x3 rib stitch, bind off 3 stitches, knit 36 stitches in 3x3 rib stitch

LEFT LEG

Continue knitting with 3.5mm needles the 36 stitches that will form the left leg in 3x3 rib stitch as follows:

rows 78 to 80: knit 36 stitches

row 81: knit one stitch, knit two stitches together, knit the rest of the stitches. You will have 35 stitches

rows 82 to 84: knit 35 stitches

row 85: knit one stitch, knit two stitches together, knit the rest of the stitches. You will have 34 stitches

rows 86 to 88: knit 34 stitches

row 89: knit one stitch, knit two stitches together, knit the rest of the stitches. You will have 33 stitches

rows 90 to 92: knit 33 stitches

row 93: knit one stitch, knit two stitches together, knit the rest of the stitches. You will have 32 stitches

rows 94 to 96: knit 32 stitches

row 97: knit one stitch, knit two stitches together, knit the rest of the stitches. You will have 31 stitches

rows 98 to 100: knit 31 stitches

row 101: knit one stitch, knit two stitches together, knit the rest of the stitches. You will have 30 stitches

rows 102 to 104: knit 30 stitches

row 105: knit one stitch, knit two stitches together, knit the rest of the stitches. You will have 29 stitches

rows 106 to 108: knit 29 stitches

row 109: knit one stitch, knit two stitches together, knit the rest of the stitches. You will have 28 stitches

rows 110 to 112: knit 28 stitches

row 113: knit one stitch, knit two stitches together, knit the rest of the stitches. You will have 27 stitches

rows 114 to 116: knit 27 stitches in 3x3 rib stitch

With 3mm needles:

rows 117 to 134: knit 27 stitches in 1x1 rib stitch

row 135: bind off all stitches.

RIGHT LEG

Pick up the stitches we left on hold in row 77. Continue knitting in 3x3 rib stitch with 3.5mm needles as follows:

rows 78 to 80: knit 36 stitches

row 81: knit 33 stitches, knit two stitches together, knit one stitch. You will have 35 stitches

rows 82 to 84: knit 35 stitches

row 85: knit 32 stitches, knit two stitches together, knit one stitch. You will have 34 stitches

rows 86 to 88: knit 34 stitches

row 89: knit 31 stitches, knit two stitches together, knit one stitch. You will have 33 stitches

rows 90 to 92: knit 33 stitches

row 93: knit 30 stitches, knit two stitches together, knit one stitch. You will have 32 stitches

rows 94 to 96: knit 32 stitches

row 97: knit 29 stitches, knit two stitches together, knit one stitch. You will have 31 stitches

rows 98 to 100: knit 31 stitches

row 101: knit 28 stitches, knit two stitches together, knit one stitch. You will have 30 stitches

rows 102 to 104: knit 30 stitches

row 105: knit 27 stitches, knit two stitches together, knit one stitch. You will have 29 stitches

rows 106 to 108: knit 29 stitches

row 109: knit 26 stitches, knit two stitches together, knit one stitch. You will have 28 stitches

rows 110 to 112: knit 28 stitches

row 113: knit 25 stitches, knit two stitches together, knit one stitch. You will have 27 stitches

rows 114 to 116: knit 27 stitches in 3x3 rib stitch

With 3mm needles:

rows 117 to 134: knit 27 stitches in 1x1 rib stitch

row 135: bind off all stitches.

BACK PIECE

Knit a piece identical to the front piece, following the instructions above.

ASSEMBLY

Join the two pieces along the sides and the inner leg seams. Weave in the ends to the inside, hiding them in the seams. Fold the waistband according to the baby's size, as well as the ankle elastic. Ready for a stroll!
