FLOWER COASTER

We present these creative flower-shaped coasters to surprise all your guests at home. They are knitted with Caricia Nature Sport yarn, available in various colors to unleash your imagination. This is one of the most practical and customizable projects you'll find.

By just learning to make one flower, you can create as many shapes, figures, and projects as you can imagine. In this case, I have joined the flowers to form a set of coasters, but it's up to your imagination to join the flowers and create as many things as you can think of... From a placemat, cushion covers, and even a blanket! Unleash your creativity and apply this simple flower chart to create tons of cool things.

3.5mm and 4mm hook

Fiber: Caricia Nature Sport (1 ball of each color) 107, 701, 702, 751, 771.

HOW TO MAKE THE FLOWER COASTER?

Abbreviations

Ch: chain

Sc: single crochet

Sl st: slip stitch

MR: magic ring

The flower pattern is very simple; we will start with the 4mm hook, making a MR with 6 sc. Then we change hooks (take the 3.5mm) and yarn color, and close with a sl st in the first of the 6 sc.

Petal 1: Chain 2, *yarn over, insert the hook into that sc, yarn over and pull up a loop to the height of the two chains*. Repeat from * to * 5 more times. Once you have all those loops on the hook, yarn over and pull through all of them, chain two, and make a sl st in the next sc.

Repeat 5 more petals, close with a sl st, and cut the yarn.

Now we have the first flower. Repeat as many times as you want, combining colors as you like best. In this case, each coaster has 7 flowers. Once you have all the flowers you want to use, turn them over and, on the wrong side, join the petals with a sewing needle and hide all the yarn ends.

Done! Your floral arrangement is finished!
