GAUGE:

STITCHES USED:

Knit 28 rows of each color as follows: *28 rows. Col 042, 28 rows. Col 061, 28 rows.  Col 002, 28 rows. Col 033, 28 rows. Col 006, and 28 rows. Col 054.*

HOW TO MAKE THE SLEEPING BAG?

Front:

With Caricia Sport yarn Col 042, cast on 46 sts. = 45 cm and knit in garter stitch. On the 26th row. change color. Buttonholes. In Col 061 continue in striped stitch. Now we start making the buttonholes. Make 8 buttonholes, 4 on each side. The buttonholes are made when reaching the 14th row of each color stripe, always knitting 3 sts. at the beginning of the row and decreasing 1 stitch. In the next row, where we decreased 1 stitch, yarn over to recover that stitch and continue knitting in garter stitch. (See buttonhole tutorial). Continue in striped stitch and repeat the same procedure in each color stripe to make the rest of the buttonholes. When you reach a length of 60 cm from the beginning of the work, bind off the stitches.

Back:

Work the same as the front but without buttonholes.

Hood:

In Col 054, cast on 22 sts. = 20 cm and knit in garter stitch for 53 rows. = 53 cm. Bind off.

ASSEMBLY AND FINISHING

The work is almost finished. You just have to sew the front Col 042 stripe with the back Col 042 stripe (D with D). Sew the ends A and B of the hood and sew C to the back of the bag along its entire length (see diagram). And sew on the buttons and fasten them. And now it's ready for you to keep your baby warm on cold winter days. With this sleeping bag, you can take them for a walk in the stroller, play on a blanket in the field, or keep them warm at home!
