Cable knit dress

HOW TO MAKE THE CABLED BODICE DRESS?

For a 2-3 year old size

Back

With Caricia Perlé and 2 mm knitting needles, cast on 140 stitches in stockinette stitch. Work 6 rows in elastic stitch. A stitch holder will be necessary. Separate 22 stitches, then 27 stitches, and reserve the remaining 42 stitches for the front to begin the back.

Then work the 27 stitches and the 22 stitches.

Start by sewing the 20 stitches. One side straight and the other increasing 16 stitches to create the raglan.

Then increase 9 stitches at once and continue straight until the skirt measures 17 cm.

Along the work, knit 2 stitches together, then yarn over, and then knit 2 stitches together again until the end. The next row, purl all stitches.

Work the other half of the back in the same way, but in reverse.

Sleeves (make two identical)

They will measure 10 cm from the neck to the edge.

To start, you will need to pick up the next group of 27 stitches that we had separated. Work cables: 16 stitches for the raglan and 9 stitches at the end.

Then knit 2 more stitches and work 4-6 rows in elastic stitch.

Front

Pick up the 42 stitches that we had separated. Work the raglan and armhole the same as the front. Then, continue until the bodice of the dress measures approximately 25 cm.  

ASSEMBLY AND FINISHING

Sew the sides. Divide the stitches into two parts, make buttonholes on one side and attach colorful buttons on the other. When you reach the middle, continue the skirt so that the lower part of the dress (from the waist down) is closed.
