HOW TO MAKE THE PERLÉ ROMPER?

With Caricia Perlé and 2.5 mm knitting needles, cast on 38 sts in garter stitch and knit 22 cm. Within these 22 cm, make 4 buttonholes on each side, distributed as shown in the photo; here is where we will begin the increases.

Knit 3 sts, yarn over, continue the row, and before finishing it, make the increase on the other side.

There will be 31 increases on each side. When finished, increase 12 sts at once on both sides and continue for 15 cm from this point, making 3 decreases distributed on each side.

Upon reaching this point, place the first 24 sts on a stitch holder and set them aside. Bind off the next 3 sts and continue the row, performing the same operation at the end.

We are left with the 64 central sts and begin the armhole decreases. We will remove 10 sts on each side, knitting 3 sts and knitting 2 sts together for 10 rows.

The armhole section continues straight.

With the remaining stitches, continue for 5 or 6 more rows and bind off the 24 central sts, continuing a small strap on each side of 10 sts. The back strap will be 3 cm long, and we will bind off all sts.

Then, take the stitches we had on the stitch holder and perform the same operation as before, decreasing 10 sts to make the front armhole. Here, after finishing the decreases, continue with the 10-stitch strap, and on the other side, bind off 4 sts (where the buttons will be sewn).

The body is now made with these steps, but to make the sleeves, we first need to sew the straps. On the straight part, insert the needle and pick up 30 sts, and then in all subsequent rows, increase 1 st on both sides until a total of 10 sts on each side (which after sewing the sleeve seam... we will join to the armhole decreases).

The sleeve will be 7 cm long in garter stitch and 6 rows in elastic stitch.

Finally, we will sew the buttons and make the buttonholes.
