HOW TO MAKE THE CROCHET OPENWORK BERMUDA SHORTS?
SIZE: M DIFFICULTY: 3
PATTERN
Make a chain of stitches and then 160 single crochets. Make 6 rows, and then the next row will be the openwork row, until you have 3 groups of single crochet. After the next openwork row, start the decreases. The front part will have different decreases than the back. In crochet, decreases mean skipping some stitches before reaching the end of the row. On the seam intended for the front, first skip 10 stitches, turn to the other side and here skip 6 stitches, turn and skip 7 stitches, go to the other side and skip 3 stitches, return to the front side and skip 4 stitches, on the other side skip 2 stitches, and then on the back part, continue straight until the end, which has a total length of 39 cm. On the front seam, you need to skip 4 more stitches and on the next, 1 stitch, and then the decreases are finished. Continue straight. In group 10 of single crochet, there is a pocket; make 20 chains in the air, and in the next row, make the stitches continuously with all the others. Make 2 identical pieces. On the bottom line of the pocket, pick up 20 stitches and make 6 rows. On the top line, which will later go inside, make 24 rows to complete the pocket on the inside.
ASSEMBLY AND FINISHING
Sew the leg parts and then the central seam; this needs to be strong, so use a machine to pass two topstitches in the same spot. It can also be hand-sewn. Through the last openwork line, insert 2 braids, each one meter long, sew in the back and adjust in the front. Make a tassel at each end.
