CLARIFICATIONS

 

- We will make a base in Sc and then, without cutting the yarn, we will make the body of the bag, all with Dc.

Finishing

 

Fold the last 6cm of the edge inwards and sew.

 

Lining

 

Cut a circle 30 cm in diameter. Cut a strip 30cm high x 90cm long. Sew the ends and fit the previous circle. Insert it into the crochet bag and attach the upper part to the "double" we made earlier (6 cm). Sew it, also catching the outer part. This lining has an inner pocket of 13x13cm (optional)

 

 

 

Drawstring closure

 

We will make an 8-strand cord 1.50m long, twist and fold. The cord can be threaded through the dc stitches, without having to make eyelets.

 

 

 

Strap to hang

 

Make a chain of 100ch, and working in rows, we will make:

 

R1 - All sc

 

R2 - All dc

 

R3 - All sc

 

Sew the strap to the edge where the lining begins, on the inside of the bag.
