HOW TO MAKE THE BAG?
To knit this furry bag, we will use Caricia Visón yarn in our workshop. Cast on 48 sts (32 cm) and knit in garter stitch until it reaches a length of 60 cm. Bind off and set aside.
Lining

For the lining, cut a piece of fabric approximately 32 cm wide by 58 cm long (this will depend on the final measurements of your bag).
For the pocket, cut a piece of fabric 12 cm wide by 15 cm long.
Pompoms (make two)
Make 2 pompoms to finish the drawstring that closes the bag.
To make the pompom:
Cut 2 cardboard circles 6 cm in diameter and make a 2 cm diameter hole in the center. Make a cut in both cardboard pieces to easily pass the yarn through the opening.
Pass the yarn through the circle as many times as necessary. For this project, we suggest a small pompom, so you won't need to make too many passes.
Carefully cut the yarn around the circle.
Insert a strand of yarn between the two cardboard pieces, through their entire diameter, and carefully pull tight, wrap, and knot 2 or 3 times to secure it well. Leave a strand to sew to both drawstrings.
Trim the excess fringes until the pompom has a spherical shape.
Drawstrings (make two)
For the drawstrings, cut 10 strands of yarn 2 meters long, intertwine them as much as possible, fold, and let the yarn coil up.
ASSEMBLY AND FINISHING
Baste the pocket to the lining and machine-sew it. Then, machine-sew both sides of the lining.
Insert the lining inside out into the bag, hem it, and hand-sew it to the top of the bag, which you will have also folded to form the casing through which you will later insert the drawstrings.
Sew the chain firmly to both sides of the bag.
Insert the drawstrings through the top of the bag to gather and close it.
Sew the pompoms to each end of the drawstring.
FINISHED LOOK

Do you like the look we suggested in the photos? We chose a yarn with shades that suggest natural furs, but we have a wide variety of colors of this type of yarn. Discover them in our online store and follow our tutorials. We help you learn to knit.
