HOW TO MAKE THE ANTONIO DIAPER COVER?

Step by step

The Antonio diaper cover consists of two pieces, front and back, which will be joined at the sides and buttoned at the bottom.

Back piece

We start knitting the waistband with 3.5mm needles:

♥ Cast on 49 stitches

♥ rows 1 to 14: knit all stitches in 1x1 rib (1 knit stitch, 1 purl stitch)

Continue knitting the body of the diaper cover with 4mm needles:

♥ rows 15 to 44: knit all 49 stitches in garter stitch, always slipping the first stitch

To make the crotch, we begin to decrease the garment:

♥ row 45: knit 4 sts, 2tog, knit 37 sts, 2tog, 4 sts

♥ row 46: knit 47 stitches

♥ row 47: knit 4 sts, 2tog, knit 35 sts, 2tog, 4 sts

♥ row 48: knit 45 stitches

♥ row 49: knit 4 sts, 2tog, knit 33 sts, 2tog, 4 sts
