Glasses case
Do you need a case for your glasses? Today we'll show you step by step how to knit one with a strong and soft yarn. It's an easy and quick tutorial to make. You'll have it ready in no time!
YOU WILL NEED:
- Caricia Sport Yarn, COLOR Nº 042 AND Nº 110.
- Knitting needles Nº 4.5 mm.
- Tapestry needle.
STITCHES USED:
- Garter stitch: g.st (see tutorial g.st)
- Slip stitch.
GAUGE
In garter stitch: 10 x 10 cm = 16 sts and 30 rows.
HOW TO MAKE THE CASE?
Cast on 16 sts and work 116 rows in garter stitch. Change color every 2 rows. Bind off.
ASSEMBLY AND FINISHING
Fold and sew side seams (see tutorial sewing seams).
Finish the upper edge by working one row in slip stitch.
Edging
To make the edging: *ch 3, skip 1 ch, and make 1 sl st* repeat from *to* until you finish the row. Close and fasten.
Cord (make two)
Cut 2 strands of 1.20 cm, fold and twist as much as possible, fold again to form the cord.
Tassel (make 2)
Cut 10 strands of 12 cm, insert through the cord, fold, adjust, and secure.
