Regarding portfolio

We are using fluorescent colors in our crafts again. Today we have chosen pink and we are going to show you how to knit a beautiful envelope clutch. It's super easy to make, comfortable, and practical.

YOU WILL NEED:

• Caricia Sport Yarn COL No. 042 and COL No. 113.
• Knitting needles No. 4.5 mm and No. 4 mm.
• Tapestry needle.

STITCHES USED

• Garter stitch (see tutorial g. stitch)
• Blanket stitch.

GAUGE

In garter stitch: 10 x 10 cm = 16 sts and 30 rows.  

HOW TO MAKE THE CLUTCH?

Envelope

With Caricia Sport Yarn No. 042, cast on 32 sts and work 98 rows in garter stitch. Flap On the 98th row, successively decrease 1 st on both sides until 8 sts remain. Bind off.

Bow

Cast on 8 stitches with knitting needle No. 4. Work 28 rows in garter stitch and bind off. Fold in the center and tack.  

ASSEMBLY AND FINISHING

Fold and sew both sides (see tutorial sew seams). With a tapestry needle and Caricia Yarn COL No. 113, make a blanket stitch around. Tack. Sew the bow to the narrowest end of the flap. Sew a small piece of Velcro inside to fasten the flap to the envelope.
