Here comes the fun feline sweater for the little ones at home, knitted with Caricia Classic to give it a touch of softness and provide all the comfort this season. Do you dare to make one for your little one?

YOU WILL NEED:

Caricia Classic Merino wool color 061 (2 skeins) Caricia Classic wool Caricia Classic colors 585, 118, 061 and 080 (1 skein of each color) Knitting needles N°3.5 Yarn needle Crochet hook N°2 3 small buttons

HOW TO KNIT THE FELINE SWEATER?

Back

Cast on 76 sts. Work 6 rows of elastic st (1-1). Knit in stockinette stitch until the armhole, 80 rows (27 cm), having increased 4 sts evenly distributed on each side.

Armhole

Decrease 2 sts on each side and continue with the raglan, decreasing 25 sts on both sides 1 by 1. Then, bind off the remaining stitches.

Front

Cast on 84 sts. Work the ribbing the same as the back and continue until the armhole, having increased 4 sts evenly distributed as on the back. Length 80 rows (same as the back).

Armhole

Bind off 5 sts on each side and continue with the raglan, decreasing 1 st at the beginning of each row. A total of 24 sts on each side. At the 18th decrease, begin the neck shaping, binding off 8 central sts and then 4 sts, 3 sts, 2 sts, 2 sts, 1 st. The raglan decreases continue until all 24 are completed.

Sleeve

Cast on 48 sts. Work 6 rows of garter stitch and continue along the sleeve (78 rows, 26 cm) Increase 10 sts evenly distributed on each side.

Armhole

Bind off 3 sts and raglan 24 sts (1 by 1) on both sides. Bind off all remaining stitches. Iron all pieces, sew the sleeve seams, side seams, and raglan, leaving half of one of the back seams unsewn. In this opening, make a strip of 5 rows of garter stitch. No buttonholes are needed, a small button will pass through the stitch. On the other side of the opening, make a row of single crochet and place the buttons here. Pick up the neck stitches and work 6 rows of garter stitch. Attach the buttons.

Feline face

To make the face with Caricia Classic wool color 118, make a 11 cm diameter circle in single crochet. Add two ears and make the muzzle with white. The rest (eyes and spots) are embroidered with the other colors.
