Detailed Step-by-Step Crochet Top Pattern

We will divide the project into 4 parts (yoke, body, ruffle, and borders) to make it easier for you to follow. But keep in mind that everything is done in one piece, without cutting the yarn at any point!

Yoke (with 3.5mm hook)

Start by chaining 100 (ch).
Row 1 (R1): double crochet (dc) in each chain (100 stitches in total).
Place markers at stitches 13, 38, 63, and 88. These will be the places where we will make increases in the next row.
Row 2 (R2): double crochet in the entire row. When you reach each marker, make an increase with this formula:
1dc – 1ch – 1dc, all in the same stitch.
Rows 3 to 18 (R3–R18): continue double crocheting and make an increase in each increase from the previous row.

In our case, we made 18 rows and achieved a sleeve length of 19 cm. But you can make more or less depending on your size or the effect you want to achieve for this crochet top pattern.

Row 32 (R32): make double crochet increases throughout the row, until reaching 252 stitches.
Rows 33 to 40 (R33–R40): double crochet, maintaining 252 stitches.
