HOW TO MAKE THE WOOL PINAFORE DRESS?

FOR SIZE 38

Back

With Caricia Sport merino yarn and knitting needles size 5, start from the bottom by casting on 74 stitches. Knit 6 rows in garter stitch and continue in stockinette stitch. At 44 cm, change color and decrease one stitch on each side, and at 9 cm, decrease another stitch on each side.

At 20 cm from the color change, knit 12 stitches in garter stitch at the beginning and end of the rows. Here, close 8 stitches at once on each side, leaving 4 garter stitches on both sides, which will be the edge of the armhole.

At 25 cm from the color change, knit the 38 central stitches in garter stitch. We will knit 6 rows and close 30 stitches.

Here, separate the straps, which will have 4 garter stitches, 4 stockinette stitches, and 4 garter stitches. Each strap will be 15 cm long, knitting 6 rows of garter stitch continuously at the end.

Front

Cast on 82 stitches. The length measurements are all the same as the back, but when reaching the armhole, knit 16 garter stitches, the same number of rows, and close 12 stitches. The neckline and straps are the same as on the back.

ASSEMBLY:

Iron before sewing.

Sew the sides. Then, sew two fixed buttons on the straps without a buttonhole. Since it's a wool pinafore dress, keep in mind that the straps may stretch, so they need to be adjusted as needed.

Buenos días, lo único que se me ocurre es que hayas distribuido mal los puntos del escote. Saludos,
