HOW TO MAKE THE POM POM PONCHO?
The front and back of the pom pom poncho are the same.
With Caricia Bebé Pom Pom yarn and knitting needles, cast on 46 sts.
Work in double rib stitch. At 10 cm, decrease 6 stitches evenly along the needle.
On the right side of the work, begin shaping the sides. Row 1: increase 6 stitches on each side, the next row (wrong side of the work) all purl. All increases are made on the right side of the work.
In the following rows, increase 2 stitches three times. Then, you need to increase 39 stitches one by one on both sides.
At 30 cm from the beginning, measured from the center, begin the rounded bottom shape as follows:
Decrease 1 stitch on both sides on the right side 4 times, then 2 stitches 4 times, 3 stitches 2 times, 5 stitches once, 7 stitches once, then 9 stitches 4 times. Then, bind off the remaining stitches.
ASSEMBLY AND FINISHING
Sew the sides and crochet a slip stitch row along the entire bottom edge.
We recommend ironing the seams and the crochet finish with a warm iron.
