Plastic looms

Today we propose knitting without using traditional knitting needles or crochet hooks. We will use rectangular or circular plastic looms.

Knitting on plastic looms is easy and fun. Using these tools, you can experience a new way to create garments for your wardrobe. It is so simple that you can even teach your children to do it. They will love it!

As you can see in the photos below, the loom is a tool for weaving with posts that protrude from one of its sides. The process is simple: you just wrap the yarn or wool around the posts to create rows of fabric. To help you, you will need a hook needle.

There are different types of plastic looms:

The circular loom is characterized by having the posts in a continuous sequence. There is no starting or ending point, and it is recommended to knit clockwise. We can make socks, hats, bags, or table placemats. Depending on the garment, you will have to choose a different diameter. In our online store, we have them in 14, 19, and 24 cm.

The rectangular loom consists of two parallel rakes with posts. Its advantage over the circular loom is the ability to knit double stitch.
