Rainbow Tapestry
You know it, and so does Albita de Plata: at Lanas Caricia, we can't resist a good explosion of colors, especially in spring. A few weeks ago, we announced that tapestries had become one of the main trends of the season, making them an ideal way to enhance the decoration of any room.
Today, we choose to do it with joy and vitality, by knitting Albita de Plata's fun Rainbow Tapestry.
Without further ado, let the explosion of colors begin!
YOU WILL NEED:
Caricia Primavera 011 (2 units), 010, 013, 003, 017, 006, 007 (1 unit of each)
3mm hook

HOW TO MAKE THE RAINBOW TAPESTRY?
ABBREVIATIONS
CH - Chain Stitch
SL ST - Slip Stitch
SC - Single Crochet
DC - Double Crochet
CLARIFICATIONS
- We will work the entire tapestry in one piece, in double crochet.
- The technique we use is C2C Crochet, which involves building the work from one corner to another, growing diagonally.
- Here's a link to a video on my YouTube channel where you can see step-by-step how to work C2C Crochet.
- Once you master the technique, which is very simple, you just have to follow the chart below.
- The colors are your choice. In this pattern, I show you the ones I used, but you can do it however you like; it's a rainbow, anything goes!
- You can adapt the chart to any yarn and hook you want, as long as you do it respecting the C2C technique.
- To finish it, hang it on the wall or make it larger and use it as a blanket, cushion cover... let yourself go and make it your own!
- If you have any questions, you can contact me, and I'll be happy to help you out. Enjoy!
Each white square corresponds to a C2C square made of 3 CH and 3 DC.
We finish by making a row of SC along the bottom edge to add the fringes.
Fold the top edge over itself to insert a rod and hang the tapestry.
